PRETTY IN PINK winds together translucent glass beads marbled with raspberry red and milky white, blush ceramic shapes, smoky crackle-glass rounds and flashes of warm gold. The palette moves from shell pink and rose to cherry red, with tiny jolts of green, yellow, blue and black tucked into the painted details.
Look closely and the sweetness gets wonderfully odd: plump hearts, striped rounds, glossy flowers, butterflies, tulips, smiling faces and peculiar little animal and character beads appear along the strand. Antique-style gold-toned spacers bring polish between all that playfulness, while the cloudy grey glass adds just enough shadow to keep the pink from becoming too precious.
The long continuous strand wears loose for an eccentric, collected-over-time silhouette or doubled into a fuller tumble of colour and texture.
