FOSSIL winds together glossy, earth-toned beads in bone cream, ochre, tobacco brown, smoky taupe and inky black. Sculpted shells, starfish, spirals, a flower and an odd little skull appear throughout the strand, as if gathered from the bottom of a cabinet—or the sea—and threaded into one long, unruly line.
Glazed surfaces and polished brown ovals keep the necklace tactile and luminous, while black brushwork, darkened shell details and gold-tone coils add grit. The tension is the whole point: archaeological motifs with a high-gloss finish, rough history interrupted by flashes of shine.
